Constituents in Parliament

St Mary's School

This past month in Westminster has been a busy one for me and I am pleased to report that my team and I have certainly been getting our steps in.

I was fortunate enough to spend some time taking questions from some of the children of St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School. When it comes to asking the tough political questions, I think that children always take the cake, and this was certainly no exception.

They put me through my paces on all sorts of issues from Parliamentary Procedure to our local environmental policies to the toughest one of all, which MP would win in an egg and spoon race?

Whilst I relished the chance to answer some of those headscratchers, it was really great to see just how engaged and informed the children were and I look forward to doing a follow up visit to the school and several others in the coming months.
